SICILY. Akragas. Punic occupation, 213-211 BC. Half Shekel (Silver, 19 mm, 3.72 g, 2 h). Male head (of Triptolemos?) to right, wearing wreath of grain ears. Rev. Horse leaping right; below, 𐤇 ('h' in Punic); all within within olive wreath. Burnett, Enna 132-47. SNG Copenhagen 378. A beautifully toned example. Very minor areas of weakness, otherwise, good extremely fine.
